Warehouse Lighting Grip and Textile Technician, Pixipixel Rental Ltd

Pixipixel provide lighting equipment and accessories to production companies throughout the UK and Europe. A range of the accessories are textile materials which are used to control, soften, and model the light. These materials range from 4ft x 4ft to 20ft x 20ft sheets which are attached to frames. A vital part of our operation is the inspection, cleaning and repairing of these materials.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for prepping and scanning the textile equipment to the highest of standards before it is presented for delivery to our clients. On return, you will be responsible for the scanning in and de-prepping, repairing damaged textiles, and cleaning where necessary of the textile equipment before allocating it back into our inventory.

You will be expected to keep your working area organised and clean and clear of any hazards, working under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Supervisors.

Skills & experience:

A knowledge of lighting and photography would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

About the role:

The role is a full-time position, working 40 hrs per week, working an 8-hour shift Monday – Friday with a 1-hour break to be taken throughout the day. Overtime will be required as the need arises.

Please send a covering letter detailing why you believe you would be suitable for this role along with an up-to-date CV.
