Description

Being Human is the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 11 to 20 November 2021. Each year, Being Human presents hundreds of free events across the UK and beyond. All festival events celebrate and demonstrate the ways in which the humanities inspire and enrich our everyday lives, help us to understand ourselves, our relationships with others, and the challenges we face in a changing world. Events include workshops, walks, tours, talks and performances. This year there is a range of online and in person events. The festival is led by the School of Advanced Study at the University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
