Description

'a space' arts is looking for young or early-career creatives as part of an exciting high-profile event coming up later this year at God's House Tower (GHT), Southampton's leading arts and heritage venue.

This is a unique opportunity for young creatives based in Southampton and surrounding areas to showcase their work to a wider audience, in an event which will celebrate emerging creativity here in the heart of Southampton’s Old Town.

Whether you’ve been working on a series of paintings during lockdown, developed an exciting film as part of your studies or even worked on a new musical composition last week, this call out is open to a range of creative mediums. The only condition is that works submitted must be completed and ready for install.

About 'a space' arts / God's House Tower - GHT is a project conceived and managed by 'a space' arts - a registered charity supporting visual artists and cultural audiences in and around Southampton with the aim of creating a city where artistic communities can flourish. We deliver a number of projects including affordable artist studios at the Arches and Tower House, our graduate programme RIPE and an Artist Development programme. In 2019 we launched our flagship venue God’s House Tower to offer artists commissioning and exhibition opportunities along with offering the public a new arts and heritage venue.
