Distillery Takeover Artist Callout, The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre

Taunton Brewhouse are offering the opportunity for three artists/companies to apply for seed funding and space to develop a new piece of live performance of any art form.

The opportunity will include: £2000 seed funding, in-kind rehearsal space at Taunton Brewhouse for a full week (20th September 2021 to 24th September 2021), technical support, stage management, 10 hours of creative support from an external practitioner and the opportunity to share your work to an audience on Saturday 25th September 2021.

We are looking for South West based artists/companies who are seeking support to create a new piece of live performance of any art form. There are no other specific creative requirements other than the desire to develop original work for audiences. The work that the three artists/companies produce, can aim to tackle any subject, start new conversations, tell old stories in a new way, or purely entertain.
