Poetry Writing with Paul Cookson, Words & Music Festival, Nantwich

Description

The Red Cow (upstairs room), Sunday 27th June 12.00pm – 1.30pm Tickets £10.00

Paul Cookson is an internationally published poet, based in the East Midlands, who has sold over a million books. As well as being a busy live performer he also works extensively in schools and communities.

This workshop is open to all. If you’ve never written a poem before – or if you have written loads – come along either way and join Paul as he gives you a few poetical pointers. No pressure, non threatening, totally accessible and most of all great fun.
As Paul says “”I believe that anyone and everyone can write a poem. Poetry is democratic – all you need is a pen and paper”

Pens and paper provided.

And if this were a tin we would do exactly what it says on it.
