Riverside Views Landscape Painting Competition - Prize 10,000, County Hall Arts

**Deadline extended to 31st October 2021**

The River Thames has provided inspiration for renowned landscape painters over centuries - from Monet to Turner to Constable.

Inspired by their timeless artworks, County Hall Arts is delighted to announce ‘Riverside Views’ - its Competition for Fine Paintings.

A prize of £10,000 will be awarded for the winning entry - with 2 runners-up prizes of £1,000 also on offer.

Professionals, amateurs and hobbyists are invited to submit landscape vistas painted from the Southbank of the River Thames - specifically as viewed from outside London County Hall between Westminster Bridge and Jubilee Gardens.

The Competition is now open for entries - through to 31st October 2021.

We're searching for artists who will rise to the challenge of following in the tradition of the great artists mentioned above and create work that celebrates the fabulous, iconic Thames in a fresh and contemporary way, finding modern, surprising, individual and diverse perspectives on these familiar scenes and vistas.

Good luck!
