Let's have some fun drawing Nintendo's iconic Mario and friends. We'll start with simple techniques and work toward creating our own fantastic cast of characters including Mario, Luigi and Bowser. All materials are provided and we will work fully within COVID-19 guidelines.

The Cartoon Academy is run by Nantwich author and illustrator, Mark Wilcox. It is a fun and informal workshop for children aged 6+ with an interest in drawing cartoons. From the basics of shapes and construction to the finer details of movement and expression; the Cartoon Academy will show you how to create your own characters and bring them to life.

The Cartoon Academy’s Goals
• Provide an environment for children to express themselves through art and creativity
• Encourage expression and promote individuality
• Teach the core techniques of drawing, cartooning and character development
