We Lifted the Earth, Gerald Moore Gallery

Open 8 October - 11 December

We Lifted the Earth is an exhibition that brings together artists Alice Hartley, Lily German and Sebastian Sochan. Through sculpture, painting, textiles and print, these artists each investigate materiality and pursue processes that transform the materials that they use.

As the world relaxes and opens up again, a new freedom appears on the horizon. We have been driven to rediscover our old ways of thinking and perceiving the world through our senses. Taking on the teachings of the "new normal" and adjusting back to the familiar, We Lifted the Earth offers a fresh perspective on our ever-changing attitudes to interacting with materials and one another.

The show will investigate these artists evolving and altered practices as we return to a world that we know and negotiate a new sensorial landscape.

Open every Saturday 10am-4pm or by appointment.
