Job Description
The Programming Assistant provides support to the Head of Programming Administration. Ensuring a consistent Hippodrome welcome to our Main Stage visiting companies, this role acts as the person on the ground, proactively liaising across teams and with company managers, diarising, issuing contracts and deal memos, booking rehearsal spaces and conducting any further admin for events and productions. Location: Hybrid, generally 3 days per week at Birmingham Hippodrome depending on business needs. Working pattern: Monday-Friday office hours, however evenings and weekends will be required regularly.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced administrative environment, managing multiple tasks, working to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and external partners, and ideally you enjoy enhancing systems, with the ability to embrace change and improvements.
