Kift Ceramics is a pottery studio open to all, based in the heart of Frome, studio 9, upstairs at Black Swan Arts.

Kift offers studio space and open-access membership, as well as a variety of different courses, workshops and classes. Whether you are an absolute beginner, or are used to working with clay, or are looking to elevate your practice, Kift Ceramics studio can provide the space, tools, and community to create your ideas.

Kift Ceramics is run by Annabel Pettigrew, an artist and lecturer who lives and works in Frome. The studio is an extension of Annabel's ceramics practice, intended to function as a space to grow and exchange ceramic practices with other artists and practitioners. The studio is a place where people can come to learn, engage, make, and contribute to the space.

Open-Access Membership can support makers and artists who want to use the studio on a weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc basis. Monthly subscription open-access membership gives you access to the studio and facilities in the following options:

Full Moon: 6 hours per week for £100 per month

Half Moon: 2 hours per week for £50 per month

Waxing/Waning: Ad-hoc studio use charged at £10 per hour

A 20% discount is available on monthly subscription for recent graduates (who have finished their studies within the last 3 years), parents with children under school age, and anyone claiming a pension.

All finished fired work will be charged for in addition, as standard.

Three month minimum membership, however variations of this are available upon discussion with Annabel, (e.g, you only wish to use the studio for the duration of a project lasting two months).

Nuances and variations to time and cost can be discussed.

Firing only options also available.
