Designed for beginners who want genuine technical confidence, this course builds a strong foundation in exposure, film stocks, colour, workflow, lighting and the creative power of celluloid.

What you will learn

  • Core cinematography principles using 16mm
  • Film gauge, lenses, field of view & visual behaviour
  • Light meter training & lighting for film
  • Loading, operating & focus pulling on the ARRI SR3
  • Lab workflow, labels, logs & test-shoot procedures
  • Designing and executing camera tests
