Thanks to support from Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy, Swindon Culture Collective is pleased to offer this free-to-attend Fundraising Info & Training Event. The morning will consist of a panel discussion with speakers from Arts Council England, local National Portfolio Organisations and freelancers and a presentation from Wiltshire & Swindon Community Foundation. The afternoon will consist of training workshops on a range of fundraising topics, including: - Articulating your mission / practice - Finding suitable funders - Writing better funding bids - Building a case for support - Local corporate sponsorship This event is open to any Swindon-based creative or cultural organisations, community groups, freelancers, producers and artists. We are able to offer up to 5 bursaries of £100 each to support freelance and independent creative and cultural practitioners in attending this event. Who is eligible:- You must be Swindon-based (living or working in Swindon) You must be a freelance or independent creative or cultural practitioner (of any discipline or artform - this includes heritage workers, producers and cultural fundraisers, as well as artists, writers and performers). You must be willing to share brief reflections after the event about what you gained from taking part How to apply:- Please apply by email to [email protected] by midnight 11 March 2026. In no more than 200 words, please tell us your motivations for applying for the bursary, why you'd like to attend the event and what benefits you hope to gain from attending. We will notify successful applicants by email by Friday 13 March. Bursaries will be paid by bank transfer after the event - recipients will be asked to complete and return a simple claim form.
