This Creative Business Skills Bootcamp will train you to launch and sustain your business and, through the power of the UNESCO brand, we will enhance and uplift the sector in the region. We will work with creatives to help them develop business ideas and launch new companies in York and North Yorks

Event Description

This June, Aesthetica, York St John University and the Combined Authority will launch the Creative Businesses Skills Bootcamp in order to support start-ups in the sector to create jobs and opportunities in York & North Yorkshire.

The 12-week course runs 5 hours per week over two evenings. It is designed to support creatives to develop and launch their businesses. It is free to attend and includes a series of workshops and masterclasses specifically aimed at start-ups. All attendees will be offered 12 months free rent at the Enterprise Centre at York St John University to support that critical first year.

The Creative Businesses Skills Bootcamp will offer start-ups a progression route into the Creative Industries and support entrepreneurial skills. We want to help you to launch your business in York and see it thrive. The deadline for applications to the Creative Business Skills Bootcamp is 26 May 2024.
