Get involved in our playful, welcoming & thought provoking
creative writing workshops that explore masculinity, mental health and community with free food, games and conversation. This is a safe space to connect with your community, talk about these themes and do some creative writing that will support your wellbeing.

You will also get a free ticket to our touring show, BIG STRONG MAN, when it comes to the area in August and September.

No experience or booking needed - just bring yourself. Everyone is welcome.

The Growth House are a Northern based, working-class theatre company that creates socially-conscious shows, workshops and events to uplift and empower our communities. We create ambitious, inclusive and experimental live events that are part party, part protest. Instead of the audience being a passive observer, we create an atmosphere akin to a sports event or music gig, which makes them active participants in the show.
