Event Description
About The Library Presents
Vibrant, accessible, inclusive, diverse, locally-chosen arts events taking place in libraries across Cambridgeshire. The Library Presents is managed by Cambridgeshire County Council and is funded by Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation.
We programme a mix of content across the whole programme and do not expect any one performance to appeal to all audiences or meet all criteria.
Shortlisted performances will go onto a menu which is shared with the public through our libraries. The public will choose which events they want on the final season programmes.
What we would like
Exciting, inspiring, high-quality performances that are well produced for The Library Presents Spring 2026 (May - July) and Autumn 2026 (October - December).
A variety of topics, interests and backgrounds featured in performances in a variety of art forms, including music, theatre, dance, comedy, animation, poetry, visual art, gaming, creative technology, magic, storytelling, art and craft and more.
Performances will take place mainly in libraries and will appeal to either adults, families, or young people (12+yrs) and their adults.
We would like to draw in new audiences, especially young adults (16-30 years) and adults over 60.
The maximum fee per performance is £1000 excluding VAT and £300 per workshop, excluding VAT.
