Presence & Process: Artist Residency

Join us for a week of embodied, reflective making at Malvern House-a light-filled, historic space on the edge of Nottingham's vibrant art scene. Presence & Process offers artists and creative practitioners time, space, and community to explore presence, awareness, and creative process within a supportive, dialogic environment.

Rooted in contemporary art and Gestalt practice, the residency invites you to slow down, notice, experiment, and reconnect with what moves your work. The week includes guided workshops, one-to-one mentoring, open studio time, communal meals, and visits from local artists and curators, including connections.

Led by Danica Maier (artist, educator, coach) and Christine Stevens (artist, Gestalt psychotherapist, Director of Clay Studio at Primary, Nottingham).

Costs:

- Residency (non-residential): £996

- Residency + accommodation: £1,321

Costs include: studio access, accommodation, all meals (vegetarian/vegan), daily group sessions, workshops, one-to-one mentoring, and guest visits.

Not included: Travel, insurance, materials.
