Freelands Foundation welcomes applications for the newly launched Freelands Awards 2026.

The Freelands Awards are an opportunity to champion and celebrate UK visual art organisations' commitment to art education. Every year, three winning organisations will each receive £100,000 for a recent or ongoing project demonstrating commitment to progressive art education approaches with a demonstrable impact.

The winners will also collaborate with Freelands Foundation on a short film that shares their art education offering, and join a celebration event in London announcing the winners in November 2026.

To be eligible, organisations must be UK-based, have a charitable purpose and demonstrate programming that imagines, explores and connects people of all ages and from different contexts with art.
