Studio space available for new members in Hammersmith West London and Barnes South West London.

Event Description

We are holding studio tours for potential new members, available for artists who are able to work unsupervised in the studio for up to 20 hours per week. We offer 24 hr access 7 days per week.

We have state of the art equipment for pottery: Skutt top loaders 524L kilns (18.5 cubic litre and 11.6 cubic litre in Hammersmith, front loader and 40 litre Cromartie kilns. Rhode Kiln, gas and raku kilns in Barnes.

Spray booth, clay extruder, pugmill, Shimpo pottery wheels, slab roller.

Members can fire to 1000 degrees and 1240 degrees each week. Special temperatures require a kiln hire at 50% discount.

Members can use the studio for hand-building and throwing techniques. Technical support is available and individual or group tuition can be booked via our classes page to learn or refresh techniques in ceramics with a 50% discount.

Membership costs £250 pcm for a minimum commitment of two months and includes electricity. One months deposit is required and one months notice to cancel membership.

Glazes are included in the studio membership and a selection of clays are available to buy from the studio. We sell 12.5kg bags of stoneware clays.

Members offer skill shares and the opportunity to sell your work in our Clay Galeria in Barnes.
