You may still be working in that capacity or your professional life may be a distant memory but you would love to get back into the studio and rediscover your pli ! Class will follow the familiar pattern of warm up exercises, technique (Graham/Cunningham) and travelling phrases. Then we will move on to learning and developing a longer phrase in the style of Alston. This is the beginning of a much bigger project designed to create opportunities for older professional dancers to be able to train, create and perform new works - to have the opportunity to persuade our older bodies to sustain or rediscover the physical, technical and artistic challenges of dance that continue to bring us joy!
