For this series we will focus in on the work of Lynette Yiadom-Boakye and Paula Rego, two stunning painters that have narratives, story telling and creativity at the heart of their processes. Looking at these artists through the lens of using narrative as a driving force in their work bridging the gap between a writing and a visual art practice, and how narrative influences work today. Each session will also feature an Ekphrastic writing workshop/exercises at the end to respond back to the art in front of us! Open to all who are curious about the intersection of art and writing - no experience required!
