Training programme for workshop leaders looking to gain experience in composing with community groups.
Event Description
We are seeking enthusiastic workshop leaders or aspiring leaders who are passionate about creative composition in community settings. This training programme welcomes vocalists and instrumentalists from all musical genres and levels of experience. It is ideal for those aiming to build a career as a community music artist or those looking to refresh their composition and co-creation skills as part of their ongoing professional development. Project workshops will take place at Hillview Community Centre 39 Kitto Road, London SE14 5TW on Wednesdays 13.00 - 15.00. The first 30 minutes will be for group mentoring and discussion. 27th May June 3rd 10th, 24th July 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd You will also receive two thirty minute online individual feedback sessions at relevant points in the programme. You will be paid £250 to cover expenses and as a contribution to your time. We ask that you are available for the full programme to ensure maximum impact.
