EV Practitioner Training is an intimate 7-day immersive program in Sintra, Portugal, designed for practitioners working with voice, movement, creativity, or facilitation. Developed by Kate Smith, The Embodied Voice integrates voice, body, and improvisation as pathways to presence, expression, and embodied awareness. With a cohort limited to 10 participants, the training offers a deep, experiential exploration of the methodology through four core pillars: Somatics & the Singing Body, Expressive Voice, Vocal Improvisation, and Leadership & Facilitation. Participants will develop skills in body-voice integration, nervous system awareness, emotional expression, improvisation, and embodied leadership in non-hierarchical spaces. The program includes online preparation (course and group calls), 7 days of in-person training, and a post-training integration session. Held in the unique natural and cultural setting of Sintra, sessions take place at Floresta Encantada, close to nature and the town center. This is not a certification course, but an opportunity to deepen personal practice, expand creative capacity, and grow as a facilitator within a supportive and committed group. Fees range from 500eur to 1000eur.
