Event Summary
Our Beginners Crochet has been developed to meet the needs of those wishing to take the first steps into the world of crochet. These classes will not only introduce the participants to the fundamentals of crochet but also to practical advice on yarns, hooks and pattern reading.
Event Description
These classes are suitable for absolute beginners and includes your own starter kit with everything you need for the class. In the morning: Learn how to hold the hook and yarn, cast on, chain and double crochet, learn about the possibilities of crochet, choosing yarn and hooks. In the afternoon: Progress with the double stitch and learn the treble stitch. Learn how to change yarn/colour and to read/write a simple pattern. Create a "Granny Square". We also offer a " Next Steps" class, which covers 'Filet' work, creating 3D items, understanding charts and patterns. You will also create 2 small projects! We offer a discount when booking the two classes together! Next Date: Sunday 26th April, 11am - 5pm Tutor: Aikeda Watson Class Size: Max 8 students When: Sunday 19th April, 11am - 5pm Cost: £85 (+ Eventbrite booking fee if booking online)
