Event Description
NAWE Online Conference 2026: Writing Worlds 13-14 November 2026, Online The NAWE conference is a unique and inspiring gathering bringing together those who teach and facilitate creative writing or aspire to do so to share, learn, and connect. Our theme for 2026, Writing Worlds, reflects the diverse worlds we inhabit and represent, in person, online, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. This year we are inviting submissions for presentations and practical workshops in three categories: Research and innovation Projects and participation Professional and personal development The NAWE conference is an excellent platform for doctoral researchers and those engaged in innovative projects in diverse community contexts. We especially welcome research in progress, and can provide support for first-time presenters. Presenters are eligible for a discounted ticket giving them access to the whole two-day programme. That includes keynote introductions to both days and participation in two Big Conversation sessions with invited panels on the topics of 'Why Writing Matters' and 'AI: the human element'. Discounted presenter rates available for both members and non-members. The deadline for proposals is Sunday 24 May 2026 at 23:59.
