Event Summary
This is a full day in-person training to give facilitators greater understanding, increased skills and confidence in communicating and working creatively with people experiencing the early stages of dementia and their companions.
Event Description
Become one of our 1000+ training alumni and learn how to reach people living with dementia, through the power of the arts! Our highly valued training course will help you to understand the differences between ageing and dementia, challenge assumptions and help you to better understand the reality of how dementia affects individuals and their family members. It will provide you with the tools to develop, communicate, and deliver your own engaging and uplifting creative activities. Friday 10th July, 10am - 4pm Islington Hub, 222 Upper Street, London, N1 NXR Price: £85-£95 (Concessions available) Suitable for: Arts facilitators, artists, learning teams and volunteers.
