Event Summary
Experience the enduring legacy of the 21 Group of Artists in their latest exhibition, 21 Journeys.
Event Description
Come and explore 21 Journeys, an exhibition that brings together a diverse range of disciplines-including painting, drawing, and printmaking-to showcase a robust and authentic art practice born out of physical making and collaboration of this long-established professional art collective. A wide range of approaches, techniques and media interact creatively with each other to offer viewers a rich variety of images. Whilst much of their work is based upon landscape, other subjects and abstract pieces also feature. Formed in 1967 in Totnes, members are now drawn from a wide area stretching from beyond Exeter in the east, to Cornwall in the west, and northwards towards Okehampton, but still limited to 21 members order to maintain the high standards that they are renowned for. The exhibition launches on 6th June 6 - 8 pm Wednesday - Sunday 10 am - 4 pm Free to attend #21GroupOfArtists #SouthWestArt #ArtizanGallery #Exhibition #FineArt #SupportLocalArtists #VisitDevon #ArtCollectives Artizan Collective 74 Fleet Street Torquay Devon
