Event Description
Are you an artist or designer who wants to expand your practice by developing your digital skills? Whether you usually work in traditional media such as painting and sculpture, or are already familiar with using digital technologies in your work, this workshop will give you the skills needed to explore 3D modelling and HTML coding. You will leave this workshop confident to upload and animate blender assets in a web browser, populating your own digital worlds. Led by digital artist Charlotte Young, whose work uses full-stack programming (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), along with 3D modelling, film, and image-making to explore the functioning and effects of the digital interface and the perennial human desire to attain altered states of consciousness. All levels welcome! please bring your own laptop and have blender and visual studio code already downloaded. Tickets are £8.
