Join artist and designer Soofiya for this free hands-on intro to bookbinding workshop. There will be an introduction to book making, and you'll be shown some simple bookbinding stitches you can do at home to make your own zines, notebooks and sketchbooks, including saddle stitch and Japanese stab stitch binding. You'll leave with some finished books and a bookbinding kit you can take home with you. Who's this workshop for? For LGBTQIA+ residents who are on low income, or experiencing financial hardship or social isolation during the cost-of-living crisis. +16 Price: FREE! All Materials will be provided.
