Are you a drama practitioner, theatre-maker, or creative freelancer? Or perhaps a recent graduate thinking about stepping into freelance work? We'd love you to join us for a free, friendly, inspiring and collaborative meet-up designed to bring together practitioners living and working across arts, theatre, education and community settings within Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands. This is an opportunity to: Connect with fellow freelancers working locally Meet practitioners we already work with - and those we'd love to get to know Share ideas, approaches and creative practice Build supportive networks within the arts community We're especially keen to welcome: Recent graduates exploring freelance careers Early-career practitioners looking to build confidence and connections Experienced freelancers wanting to expand their networks and opportunities Opportunities We are actively looking to connect with freelance practitioners to deliver sessions in schools and community settings-so this is a great opportunity to showcase your work. We're, therefore, looking for practitioners who would like to lead a short 10-minute activity during the session. This could be: An activity you love and want to share A new idea you're testing A practical exercise that showcases your facilitation style We're particularly interested in work that: Demonstrates your ability to lead, engage and inspire Connects arts, culture and heritage (as a museum and theatre, this is at the heart of what we do!) What we'll provide A welcoming and supportive environment Time for discussion and networking Refreshments and a light lunch
Mansfield Cultural Services is an ACE NPO made up of Mansfield Palace Theatre and Mansfield Museum.
