Join the RCP Garden for the medicinal plant lectures exploring Iranian and Chinese medical practises.
Event Description
On Monday 27 July at 2pm, we will be hosting the last medicinal plant lectures of the year, in person at the RCP at Regent's Park and online. We are delighted to welcome Dr Hormoz Ebrahimnejad, lecturer at the University of Southampton and Professor Vivienne Lo, professor emeritus at University College London who will deliver talks titled indigenising modern medicine: epistemic translation and institutional change in Iran and the ancient domestic medico-culinary traditions of China and beyond. In-person attendees can also look forward to a guided tour of the RCP's renowned Medicinal Garden containing over 1,000 medicinal plants. Tickets: £25 (discount for RCP Members)
