Join us for inspiring, hands-on workshops led by award-winning textile artist Divya Sharma!___ Where: Pan Intercultural Arts, London, SE1 7TP / When: Thursday 2 July 12:00-13:00 and 13:00-14:00 / Thursday 9 July 12:00-13:00 and 13:00-14:00 / Thursday 16 July 12:00-13:00 and 13:00-14:00 / Thursday 30 July 12:00-13:00 and 13:00-14:00 / ___Inspired by themes of identity, culture, and belonging, Divya's work incorporates storytelling and visual narratives through textiles. Together, we'll explore how personal stories, memories, and experiences can be translated into colour, texture, and pattern. Each workshop may include techniques such as: - Needle felting - Applique work - Bead work and slow stitching - Cyanotype Printing (Weather Permitting!) ___These workshops offer an accessible introduction to textile art in a supportive and creative environment. Suitable for beginners, all materials will be provided. As we will be using needles, these workshops are only suitable for those aged 10+, but if you have little ones, you can bring them along and we'll find alternative activities to keep them occupied! These eight workshops have been designed as a connected creative journey, but each session also works as a standalone experience. You're welcome to join just one or two workshops, or attend all eight!
