Fee: £30 (booking in advance, limited places available) Learn about the history of Dollis Valley Greenwalk & Whetstone Stray, London, N20. Engage the senses and be guided through a series of free flow writes based on the research. Groups are small & supportive with no critique on the writing. Please book via our Creative Writes website: https://www.creativewrites.co.uk/walk-write/ (Fee: £30) In 2024 we had fantastic Walk & Write Workshops at Kenwood House & Hampstead Heath; Regents Canal & King's Cross; Victoria Park - Finchley; Woodberry Wetlands & New River Path; Alexandra Palace Exhibition & Lake; Golders Hill Park, Hill Garden & Pergola; Pond Square & Literary Plaques - Highgate and The British Library. 2025 brought wonderful workshops at Lauderdale House & Waterlow Park, Hampstead Village & Burgh House, North Finchley N12 - Urban Stories (including Arts Depot Exhibition Tour) and Barnet Village & Museum. At our first Walk & Write of 2026 in March, we explored wonderful Whetstone, N20. Our April 2026 Workshop was Whittington Park, N19 & surrounds and in May, Arnos Park & Viaduct. We explored Hendon Park with its fascinating history this June. We look forward to more adventures around North London! All you need are notebooks and pens. We are a very welcoming community.
