Join acclaimed artist Bryony Kimmings for a week-long workshop exploring how to create a show inspired by your own life and experiences in a safe and supported way.
Through a series of practical, step-by-step exercises, you will explore how to find your authentic voice, turn questions about the world into creative quests, and develop the form, concept and audience intentions for your work. By the end of the week, you will have created a clear plan for the next stage of developing your show.
The workshop is open to creators and artists working across different disciplines, including circus performers, dancers, comedians, theatre-makers, writers and actors. You do not need to have an existing show or idea to apply.
Cost and bursaries
The workshop is heavily subsidised to help reduce financial barriers to taking part. The fee for the full week is £100.
Two fully funded bursary places are available for artists who would otherwise be unable to attend.
