Event Summary
Event Description
Engaging with SEND children and young people can bring unique challenges - from low engagement and high anxiety to reluctance driven by a fear of failure.
For over 33 years, we've been developing and refining The Bamboozle Approach: a methodology centered on a simple yet powerful shift - adapting the environment around the child, rather than expecting the child to fit the system.
Now, for the first time, we've packaged these tried-and-tested strategies into a flexible, self-paced digital training course.
What you'll gain from the course:
Practical Strategies: 9 actionable ways to reduce anxiety, manage challenging behaviors, and build self-esteem.
Calmer Learning Environments: Methods to remove the pressure from staff while creating spaces where children feel safe to participate.
Interactive & Accessible Content: 2 hours of self-paced learning featuring videos, real-world examples from headteachers and parents, audio recordings, and captions.
Take-Away Tools: Practical "try this" tips you can use immediately, plus a free downloadable resource to support your ongoing practice.
"Some of the 'battles' I had before working with Bamboozle are now non-existent. The pupils are much calmer and happier."
- Karen Wake, Autism Lead, Lakeside School

About Bamboozle Theatre Company
Too often in our society learning disabled children, and their families, are not heard; they are left out, made to feel that they don’t belong, let alone have their voices heard. Many of the children and young people we work with are unable to speak for themselves. They can’t express themselves in ways that most of us take for granted. But they do have things to say.
What we do at Bamboozle is to unlock the doors to enable them to find their own voice. We do it by producing immersive accessible
