Many creative people make art but only 10% of artists work full time selling their work. For the majority of artists, selling their pieces makes up a third of their revenue. If you're interested in turning your craft or art practice into a business, this is the session for you. Suffolk-based artist Lily Hammond, an illustrator and mural painter, will lead the session, looking at the different revenue streams open to artists, so you can think more effectively and strategically about how to make art into a profession. We'll explore exhibiting your work, how curation works and what it's like to operate as an independent artist.
