Join award-winning curator, museum consultant and 2x author Dr Angela Stienne for five days exploring the behind-the-scenes of the making of small budget, low tech and high impact projects in the cultural sector.

This is not a theoretical approach to museum studies or historical practice. Instead, you will explore the very tangible projects she has curated and led, the methods, the practice, the results and the limitations, so you can learn about real-life case studies and apply them in your own practice to transform your field, your practice, your community impact and, importantly, your career.

You will get access to the thinking behind some of Dr Angela Stienne's award-winning projects, all of which have social impact at the heart of their practice: Mummy Stories, The Lyme Museum, the refugee relabeling project, and the Ethics workshops.

The first four day, you will learn about each project, its methodology and its applications, and be given prompts for how you might use their approach in your own work (so grab a coffee, a pen and a paper and be ready to take notes!). On the fifth day, a messaging Q&A will allow you to ask further questions about the projects and how to create your own projects, develop methods and mobilise your audiences. During the entire week, you will get access to a community chat to exchange with other cultural thinkers.
