Job Description

ProLighting are offering a unique opportunity to support our Maintenance and Repair Team in the role of 'Lighting Workshop Technician' in our in-house workshop.

We are a London-based leading photographic and moving image equipment rental company supplying professional photographic and production equipment to high-end brands, production houses, photographers and cinematographers across London, the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a pro-active and conscientious individual with solid technical knowledge and a clear talent for problem solving.

This full-time role will be based at our main lighting warehouse and studio complex in London E1, with a February move to NW5 in the pipeline.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills:

- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail

- Proven previous experience in a similar role

- Ability to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:

- Full UK driving liscence

- PAT testing training

- Basic knowledge of Photographic equipment

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosis, repair and testing of electrical and non-electrical lighting equipment

- Regular maintenance and servicing of equipment according to manufacturer specs

- Purchasing and keeping stock of spare parts and consumables

- Schedule and carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment (training provided)
