Are you a passionate and experienced Screen, Text, Voice or Movement Tutor? The double award winning Identity School of Acting is in Birmingham! We are seeking to appoint dynamic Freelance Tutors to join our esteemed school and growing team to inspire the next generation of talent.
This opportunity allows the ideal candidates to be at the forefront of Birmingham's acting scene where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring actors.
IDSA is a vibrant and multicultural Acting School situated in London, Manchester, LA, Online and Birmingham. We pride ourselves in delivering training of the highest standard whilst preparing students from all backgrounds for the reality of becoming established and working actors.
Whether you are a tutor accomplished in Movement, Text, Voice or Screen, we invite you to apply and share your expertise while delivering an inspiring yet challenging curriculum.
We offer evening work in 3 hour sessions (6 -9 hours per week). Whether you have experience with beginners or seasoned professionals, IDSA welcomes students at all skill levels.
Founded in 2003 by Femi Oguns MBE, the Identity School of Acting (IDSA) was established to reflect and cater to actors from diverse backgrounds. Over the past 23 years, IDSA has become an internationally renowned institution with a global student body enriching one another's experience.
Our diverse and inclusive approach to training has attracted overwhelming interest from industry professionals, including casting directors and key production companies when seeking exceptional and dynamic talent.
As we celebrate our 23rd Anniversary, we are excited to expand our talented team of acting tutors who share our passion for excellence and commitment to empowering a new generation of diverse performers.
We are offering £25-£30 per hour.
Job Requirements
- Plan teach and assess Acting Skills as specified by the Head of Acting
- To deliver relevant curriculum in timetabled sessions through a coherent scheme of work
- Provide ongoing formative feedback to the students as appropriate through these sessions
- Schedule and manage additional tutorials and 'drop in' sessions to support student learning and development
