Misfits Music Institute seeks a Creative Marketing & Comms Officer in Birmingham. This 22.5hr/week hybrid role involves delivering a marketing strategy to grow membership, sales, and donations.

Job Description

We are looking for a driven and proactive Creative Marketing & Communications Officer to work to increase our number of beneficiaries across our core community music groups. You will play a key role in growing our audience, increasing our online reach, and ensuring our communications reflect our inclusive and welcoming ethos. Key Responsibilities Working closely with the Programme Manager, Artistic Director, and Music Director, you will: Produce engaging content across social media, website, print, and email. Lead the development and delivery of a dynamic Marketing Strategy aimed at growing our community and revenue. Increase membership across core groups and drive ticket sales. Scale both product sales and charitable donations through an increased public and digital presence. Contract Details: Term: Fixed-term contract until July 2027 (with a view to extend, subject to funding). Hours: 22.5 hours per week (0.6). Salary: £16,500 actual salary (£27,500 FTE). Location: Hybrid; Home working plus our friendly Moseley (Birmingham) office. Events: Occasional evening/weekend support at events (TOIL provided).
