Offbeat Dursley 2026 is seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to support our one-day town-wide micro-festival taking place in June 2026 in Market Square and surrounding streets.

Offbeat is a community-led creative event featuring stalls, talks, workshops, demonstrations, music, food and a collective making-and-parade moment. Volunteers will play an important role in helping the day feel welcoming, organised and inclusive.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming visitors and signposting activities

• Supporting workshop facilitators and stall holders

• Assisting with set-up and pack-down

• Stewarding activities and helping guide the parade route

• Helping manage information points

• Supporting documentation (photos/video) where appropriate

• Ensuring public spaces remain safe and accessible

Volunteers do not need prior event experience, but should be:

• Friendly and approachable

• Comfortable speaking with members of the public

• Reliable and able to follow guidance

• Supportive of inclusive, community-led events

Briefings will be provided ahead of the event, and volunteers will be part of a supportive team environment throughout the day.

This is an opportunity to be part of building a joyful, creative moment in the heart of Dursley, while gaining experience in community event delivery.
