London Full-time (35 hrs) Hybrid We are looking for a highly organised Assistant to support our two Directors and handle essential studio coordination. This full-time role suits someone with a minimum of three years' demonstrable experience in a similar administrative or assistant position, ideally within the cultural sector or creative industries, who is proactive, detail-oriented, technologically curious, and confident communicating in excellent written and spoken English. We offer: - £36-40k per annum, assessed based on experience - One-year contract with the opportunity to become permanent and progress towards an Executive Assistant role - Hybrid: 3 in-studio days at Somerset House, London (usually Mon/Tues/Thurs; may vary with projects) plus 2 from home. - Occasional out-of-hours work for international clients or partners 25 days' holiday plus public holidays plus 5-day Christmas studio closure (subject to project schedules, but this is our usual practice) - Training allowance aligned to the role's development - Eligibility for performance-based bonus (for permanent employees post-probation) Please apply by midday on 19th March. Job Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' demonstrable experience in an administrative or assistant role supporting senior staff. We will be looking for clear evidence of this in your application. - Exceptionally well organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and spoken English. You write clearly and confidently on someone else's behalf. - Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace, calendars, project management platforms, and accounting software. - Technologically curious and happy to learn new tools. We use a range of digital platforms across the studio and expect this to evolve. - Able to plan ahead, problem-solve, and re-prioritise calmly when things shift. - An ability to think strategically about priorities, interdependencies, and outcomes. - An interest in, and ideally experience within, the cultural sector or creative industries. - Discretion and good judgement in handling sensitive information.
Job Responsibilities
The role includes (not limited to): - Managing the Directors' diaries, correspondence, travel, and itineraries. - Drafting and sending communications on behalf of the Directors with clarity and professionalism. - Supporting client and partner communication, follow-ups, and relationship management. - Assisting with the Directors' expenses, coordinating meeting bookings, and visitor passes (approx. 20% of the role). - Assisting with studio's organisational and administrative work (20% of the role).
