Job Summary

FMP and Shedinburgh are seeking a pro-active and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead on the financial operations across both the production company and the venue. Part Time: Equivalent to 3 days per week, with flexibility to distribute hours across the week by mutual agreement. FTE £45k

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL - At least 2 years' experience of working in a finance or financial management role, with responsibility for maintaining and improving financial control processes. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail. - Excellent written, numeric and verbal communication skills and confidence dealing with people at all levels of seniority. - Advanced level skills in use of QuickBooks and Xero. - Experience of working with budgets, forecasts, cash-flows, financial reporting and filing VAT returns. - Experience of preparing or overseeing statutory accounts and working with accountants. - Understanding of financial governance, risk management and internal controls. - Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. - Good IT skills and experience of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel to a high level.
