With guidance from the Artistic Director/CEO & General Manager, lead on a marketing strategy aimed at expanding Stanley Arts' venue hires, filming, co-working bookings and F&B revenue, helping to diversify ancillary income streams & expand the number of regular commercial bookings. With guidance from the Artistic Director/CEO & General Manager, lead on a marketing and audience development strategy to increase audience ticket sales for our arts programme and audience participation for our Learning and Engagement programme - with a particular focus on local audiences, families, young people, queer audiences, deaf & disabled audiences and global majority audiences.
Job Requirements
Essential At least 2 years of experience in an arts marketing position/ or similar. Experience of booking a range of digital and paid marketing services. Experience of commercial marketing i.e. space hires, services. Experience of creating & managing marketing budgets for cultural activity. Experience of working on a Box Office/CRM system. Enthusiasm for working at a multi-disciplinary cross-art form community venue. Desirable Experience of marketing across different art-forms. Experience working in a building-based arts/heritage organisation. Experience of line management and managing a team. Experience of fundraising marketing campaigns. Experience of managing a website (WordPress.) Experience of overseeing or managing social media channels. Passion for arts and culture.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the in-house artistic team and freelance producers to develop individual marketing strategies for projects and productions at Stanley Arts, working to meet ambitious audience and sales targets. Reporting on Marketing Campaign effectiveness to the wider Stanley Arts team and stakeholders. Line-manage the Marketing Officer, providing regular oversight, support, training, CPD and guidance on their work, including through weekly marketing meetings. Creating and posting content on the Stanley Arts website, for show advertising, brand marketing and ticket sales. Responsible for website improvements, managing web developers to make website changes. Manage the Box Office & CRM system (Ticketsolve), managing event on-sales, reporting, data analysis and customer communications. Support the Stanley Arts team on best practice and problem solving. As a member of the Senior Management team contribute to the overall strategic business planning for Stanley Arts.
