Job Description

Studios Maintenance Technician

£200 daily rate

You will become part of a small, friendly team and play an important role in the day-to-day running, upkeep, and presentation of Cell's studio facilities, helping to maintain a high-quality working environment.

The role reports to the Head of Operations and works closely with the Studios Operations Coordinator.

minimum 4 days - 8 days per month, with a view to expand the role within the organisation.

Job Requirements

  • 8hrs per Day, 9pm-5pm with 1hr paid lunch break, between Monday-Friday
  • Full UK driving licence (to drive Cell's company van or use your own vehicle)
  • Solid basic maintenance and repair skills, including:
    • Plumbing
    • Painting and decorating
    • Light carpentry

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent time-keeping
  • Good Health & Safety understanding
  • Construction or maintenance experience is an essential requirement
  • Accurate records keeping on required paperwork and web based systems ensuring information is fed back to management.
  • An ability to use a smart phone for communication by text or email
  • Clean Driving License is essential to drive company van
  • Ability to work to deadlines and ensuring work is complete within an allocated time.
  • Good customer interface
  • Some formal qualifications i.e. City & Guilds would be an asset

  • Minimum agreed daily rate of £200
  • Typically, 4-8 days per month within Monday-Friday initially
  • There is room for growth: for the right candidate, and subject to satisfactory performance following a 2-month probation period, we can commit to a set number of working days per month.
