Good day, everyone!

Here at Dance&Arts, we are currently looking for a lovely teacher to lead our available Bookworms & Comic Afterschool Club.

Please see the details below:

Club: Bookworms & Comic Afterschool Club
Schedule: Every WEDNESDAY, from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM
Duration: Starting the 25th of February until the 25th of March
Location: Primary school in the Hackney area E8
Students: Year 1-6 (ages 6-11 years old)
***Pay is £35 per hour.

ESSENTIAL: Enhanced DBS check, commitment, and high reliability.

Job Requirements

Passion for encouraging reading and creativity in children (ages 6-11).
Experience working with primary-aged children.
Ability to engage mixed age groups in literacy-based activities.
Strong group management skills and a positive, organised approach.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before employment).
Right to Work in the UK (preferably residing in the London area).

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging reading, comic exploration, and storytelling sessions.
Encourage imagination, discussion, and creative participation.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed environment.
Ensure sessions are structured, enjoyable, and aligned with Dance&Arts' enrichment philosophy.
