As Building Support Assistant, you will be responsible for opening and closing the building, conducting regular safety patrols, performing general maintenance, setting up rooms and being reactive to building needs, as agreed with the Centre Manager. This job-share role includes organising and dealing with contractors on site carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance, general porterage duties including the receipt and distribution of deliveries setting up rooms for hire, operation and maintenance of site security systems, including dealing with anti-social behaviour and providing friendly, helpful customer care to support the smooth running of the library.
