Job Description
The Box Office Manager is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to patrons in person, by phone, or by email. The Box Office Manager motivates the Box Office Assistants to deliver a high standard of customer care and to meet donation and upselling targets.
Job Requirements
Essential - Excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders. - Strong organisational and leadership skills. - Ability to work evenings and Sundays when required. - Experience of a customer facing role. - Knowledge of GDPR. - Strong sales skills. - Good degree of numeracy. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. Desirable - Experience of using Spektrix or equivalent CRM system. - Previous experience in a box office role. Please note that this role is primarily based at Harrogate Theatre with occasional working at the Royal Hall, Harrogate Convention Centre or other local community spaces. Due to the nature of the role working from home is not possible.
