Job Description
Strategic Contribution Contribute to programme planning in collaboration with senior leadership team Work closely with the Founder & Director on developing programmatic strands and partnerships Support the articulation of institutional priorities and programme structure Act as a key internal coordinator across departments to ensure organisational alignment Represent the organisation in professional contexts alongside senior leadership Help build and sustain relationships with artists, curators, institutions and partners Curatorial and Programme Development Work with the Founder & Director and the Director of Programmes & Content to develop and structure exhibitions and multidisciplinary programming Initiate & lead distinct strands of programming Contribute to translating artistic direction into clear programme frameworks, timelines and deliverables Oversee commissioning processes and support artist and curator relationships Ensure coherence across exhibitions, public programme, publishing and digital activity Shape formats that support research, dialogue and participation Maintain dialogue with artists, writers and thinkers connected to the programme Coordinate internal planning processes and programme calendars Editorial and Research Framework Support the senior leadership team towards integrating publishing as a core component of the programme Ensure continuity between live programme, documentation and commissioned content Partnerships and Funding Support funding strategies aligned with programme priorities Contribute to proposals Plan and monitor programme budgets with the finance team Balance ambition with feasibility across projects Anticipate resource and scheduling needs early in planning Team Coordination Provide guidance and coordination for curatorial and programme team Foster collaborative working practices across departments Manage relationships with external contributors and guest curators
Job Requirements
Essential Significant experience developing and delivering multidisciplinary cultural programmes within an institutional context Strong ability to translate conceptual direction into practical frameworks and timelines Experience working with artists, writers and cultural practitioners Budget management and planning experience Excellent organisational and communication skills Confidence coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders Broad understanding of contemporary art and cultural discourse Ability to work collaboratively within a developing organisation Demonstrated knowledge of artistic and cultural practices from the Global Majority and familiarity with transnational or non-Western cultural contexts Desirable International cultural networks Experience working alongside editorial, publishing or research-based programmes Knowledge of audience engagement strategies Partnership and fundraising experience Public speaking experience
