Job Description

We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our 3-6 year old performing arts classes. This role is on Saturday mornings, 9:30am - 1pm with opportunity for additional work during holiday camps in half terms and summer holidays.

This role is about far more than helping in a classroom. It is about creating a safe and welcoming space where every child feels they belong. You will support our teacher in delivering gentle, structured sessions in drama, singing and dance, helping young children grow in confidence, communication and creativity at their own pace.

Our Little Ones classes are often a child's very first drop off experience. The right person will understand early nerves, separation anxiety and big emotions, and will respond with calm reassurance and consistency.

This is a rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and believes in building confidence through creativity.

We value team members who believe every child deserves a place to belong. The ideal candidate understands that confidence builds gently over time and that every child's journey is different. You will be supportive of shy, sensitive and energetic children alike, balancing warmth with structure. You take pride in being organised, consistent and emotionally aware, helping create a safe environment where children feel happy, settled and excited to return each week.

Applicants must be available to attend training in April 2026.

Pay is between £13-£15 per hour
