We are looking for 2 talented animators to join our creative team to help us finish our exciting animated short, a taster for a new animated sitcom based on Greek Mythology called The Other Heroes

The Other Heroes Indie | Dark Comedy | Greek Mythology | 2D ________________________________________ The Premise: In a world where Zeus gets statues and Hercules gets movies… We follow the cast-offs. The forgotten monsters. The minor gods. The divine accidents. At the centre is Eugene. Unemployed. Emotionally Immature. Drinks too much. Well that's what he thought... What he doesn't know… He's a demigod. The son of Dionysus - god of wine and chaos. And Eugene has inherited more than he realises. Or would want to. What We're Looking For: We are looking for 2 talented animators to join our creative team to help us finish our exciting new animated short. The 2 animators selected will be working closely with each other throughout this project. If you have a family member, friend, gorgon, or a minotaur who would be up for animating alongside you, please let us know when applying. If not, do not worry, this is not a necessity; we are more than willing to build a team from scratch as well. Budget: Small independent production. The pay: £800 for each Animator Hours: 62 (and as stated above, we will work out a schedule with you) Potential backend participation Long-term involvement if series progresses

Job Requirements

Skills: Experience working with animation, preferably using Moho, as this is the software that we want to use for this project. (We will provide this software to you if you do not already own it) Good/Clear communicator. A creative and collaborative approach to animation. We want to create a piece of animation that is stripped back enough to work within our budget, whilst also offering our audience something engaging and eye-catching. Able to work to deadlines - Due to the nature of the budget, we understand that people cannot drop their lives/careers to prioritise this project. That being said, we will create a schedule and deadlines that work for you to ensure the project is kept on track.

Job Responsibilities

The Project: 1-2-minute scene A fairly simple dialogue-driven scene, with some minor weather effects, and a few small moments of action and character movement. This is a low-budget venture, and we are more than willing to make creative compromises and to negotiate the best, most time/cost-effective way for us to achieve our vision
